Three days later and still traveling, Abraham could see the place at a distance. He saddled his donkey, got two of his servants, his son Isaac, took the wood that he cut, and set out for Mount Moriah. In obedience to God’s instructions, Abraham got up early the next morning with a purpose and a plan. Golden Text: God called “Abraham!” He replied, “Here I am.” God commanded Abraham, “Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. In today’s article God’s call came to Abraham, along with specific instructions.
